Stephanie has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2015 and graduated here in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. She is the recipient of the ‘Wholistic Therapist’ award from the Massage Therapists’ and Wholistic Practioners’ Association of the Maritimes.
She has enjoyed spending a good portion of her life so far exploring the world while working and studying abroad. After finishing her Bachelor of Arts in International Development and Psychology at Dalhousie University in Halifax where she received the 'Higher Education Award' from the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, she moved to Jeju Island, South Korea to teach English as a second language.
From here she moved to Brisbane, and the Gold Coast Australia where she obtained her Master of Environment, Education for Sustainability where she received the 'Griffith Award for Academic Excellence’. After working as environmental educator in Australia and Vancouver, BC she made the move back home to Halifax. Looking for something different, she then changed career paths and entered the health profession world.
Stephanie thoroughly enjoys connecting and working with patients to create a treatment plan and self care routine that is motivating and works for the individual. She is a big advocate for functional movement and assisting patients in increasing their awareness of their unique posture and way of moving in the world. Her sessions have the option of involving therapeutic exercise and/or Pilates components in conjunction to the massage treatment.
Stephanie has been a practicing Ashiatsu barefoot massage therapist since 2015 and incorporates this style into her treatments along with cupping and deep tissue massage techniques.
During her down time Stephanie can most likely be found outside hiking, paddling, horseback riding or fly fishing, planning her next travel adventure, or at the studio practicing yoga and Pilates.
