FACIAL CUPPING + HEAD, NECK & SHOULDERS
This focused therapeutic session is designed to address chronic tension and dysfunction of the head, neck, jaw, face, and shoulders — areas commonly influenced by stress, inadequate posture, repetitive strain, and TMJ-related issues.
During this treatment, using precise, evidence-informed massage techniques, your therapist will work to:
Relieve muscle tightness and trigger points
Improve lymphatic flow
Increase functional range of motion of the neck and shoulders
Reduce frequency and intensity of headaches and/or migraines
Decrease jaw discomfort related to clenching or grinding (bruxism)
This treatment is particularly effective for clients experiencing:
TMJ dysfunction
Headaches or migraines
Postural strain from desk or screen work
Facial tension or chronic jaw clenching
Shoulder, neck & upper back stiffness
The session may also include gentle facial cupping, a technique that supports lymphatic drainage, reduces inflammation, and encourages myofascial release in the face and jaw. While not cosmetic in focus, this technique can offer secondary benefits such as reduced puffiness and improved tissue tone.
This is a results-driven treatment aimed at functional improvement and pain reduction, with a strong emphasis on client comfort and clinical outcomes.
This service is currently offered by Courtney Olmsted as well as Jora Wentzel, RMT.
