Minn downey, RMT
(they/she)
Minn brings a beautiful balance of clinical experience, thoughtful care, and grounded presence to the treatment room. Before joining Sore Spots, they ran their own clinic on Nova Scotia’s South Shore and previously taught at CCMH.
Alongside their work as an RMT, Minn also serves as a board member with the Dartmouth Community Health Board and the QE2 Diversity in Healthcare Committee, and is currently completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree.
What’s your sore spot? Minn’s here to help you.
Their mantra in bodywork is "start where you are, use what you have"; depending on postural manifestations and specific clinical assessments, Minn's practice is often adaptive to the needs of each client and their bodies.
With continuing education in myofascial release, pelvic rebalancing, and Pilates-based remedial exercise, Minn’s treatments may weave together deep tissue massage, myofascial techniques, and a kind, clinical intention that feels both supportive and restorative.
Minn is wearing what we hear is the very last shirt you will ever be able to buy from one of our favourite places to get Pho in the city.
Pho Hoang Minh is located on Wyse Road. If you need a little comfort stew or wanna see where all the locals go to get the best lunch deals, visit this sweet, family run restaurant just around the corner from the MacDonald Bridge on the Dartmouth side.
